Lots of great things have happened in the last few weeks. The most important is the whole reason that we moved to New York in the first place; Erin is now a doctor having graduated from Albany Medical College. Erin's family has been here this whole week. Last weekend I hiked up to the top of Mt. Marcy; the highest point in New York state. I have been spending a lot of time with my friends here.

Erin's family is in town. I climbed to the highest point in New York State. I have a ton of links and videos to share. Work is busy and I'm doing everything I can to spend time with my buddies before we leave Albany for good. One of the last things on my mind is my website. I'll have a write-up of Mt. Marcy soon enough but for now I will let you ponder this.

I don't know in which time zone this server is located. I don't know if this is the joke. Try yourself. This is what I got. It's funny enough.

I made it home safe and sound. A little late but still safe. The second half of the trip wasn't nearly as eventful as the first half but I feel that my story needs a bit of closure.

It was Thursday around 2 PM and I was at the airport in Albany. My first flight was going into Washington DC. I get to the airport with plenty of time to spare but when I check the departure monitors my flight does not have a gate listed. No big deal. I'll go down to the terminal where United usually operates in and wait. Eventually we did get a gate and it was in a part of the airport that I have never even seen. Sort of cool. Bad omen? No big deal. My flight from Albany to DC was mostly uneventful. A woman sat behind me and tapped on my seat as if it were a drum during the whole flight. She also pretended that she had bass pedals. No big deal.

Here we go again. I think that these randomly generated comic strips are somehow adding some dimension to these very linear and boring characters.

I've been playing with the Garkov site once in a while. Much like daytime TV, you normally get junk but every once in a while, an old episode of Dragnet appears. These are my random Garfield dragnets. I've saved tons of these so I won't post them all today. If you don't remember Garkov, check out my update right before this one. It generates Garfield comics with random words from original Garfield comics.
